Includes a 1984 paper by Tim Robinson 'Plant Records from West Galway' (drafts exchanged with an editor included later in folder). Correspondence also covers Aughros House / Coney House on the 1860 Admiralty Chart and Walter Wade who did the first botanic investigation of Connemara (1980-1987);

              Letter from Noel King to Tim enclosing a map and listing protected species and locations (16 November 1984);

              Correspondence between Cian Ó Sé of the Cork Speleological Society and Robinson. Begins with a letter from Ó Sé commenting on some placenames, specifically Poll an Eidhneáin and Cairn Suí Finn, with some commentary on the local Munster Irish dialect of Clare. Copy reply from Robinson on Rath Bheag, Dabhach Bhrainin, Poll an Eidhneain, and Aille an Daill. Two letters from Ó Sé, one in Irish and one in English answering Robinson's queries, and enclosing a photocopy of a section of Robinson's 1977 map with annotation. Refers to Charles Self (see P120/3/2/2/2) (26 Aug - 8 Sep 1980) 14pp;

              Three copies of a list of Burren Placenames. The first list is a handwritten draft with lots of notes. The second list is typed, and arranged into 3 columns that give the OS form of the place name, other known versions of the name, and the suggested Irish form. The third list is a carbon copy of the typed list and has several handwritten edits from Robinson and Micheál Ó Maolchaoine / Michael (Pop) Mulqueeny.

              Colour photographs and slides taken by Tim Robinson in the Burren. Mostly of archaeological sites, captioned on the backs of the photographs. Includes the photograph of Tim Robinson on boat to Deer Island in 1984. (c1978-1998), 32 photographs and 10 slides;

              Three discs of images with two accompanying notes from Michael Crane to Tim Robinson. The notes indicate the CD includes panoramic photographs of Holy Wells and Early Christian Churches in the Burren, using Robinson's map in the background.These discs are for Mac use, and are not currently accessible.               File of six-inch Ordnance Survey maps of Clare from the 1915 and 1916 editions. There are 13 in total, sheet numbers: 1, 2, 3 & 3a, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 14 & 8a, 15, 16 and 17.

              The maps have been annotated by Tim Robinson with borders outlined in coloured ink, and notes in pencil. An indexing system used on the maps by Robinson corresponds with his field notebook (see P120/3/2/1/2).

              Six folders containing 56 maps, all annotated six inch OS maps. The maps are mainly the 1965 and 1966 editions with a small number from the 1974 and 1978 editions. Some of the maps in this file are photocopies that are sellotaped together. All maps contain edits that mark in additional features and placenames. The file begins with a fragment of the Ordnance Survey sheet index for Co Galway, with Robinson's handwritten notes listing the sheets he will require for his mapping project.

              The following description lists the sheet numbers, number of copies, and date of publication of each OS map. Paragraph breaks indicate a new folder:

              Sheet numbers: one copy of Sheet 9 B C D (undated); two copies of Sheet 9 A (1965), two copies of Sheet 10 and 10A (1965 and 1979), two copies of Sheet 11 (1965), two copies of Sheet 12 & 13 (1965).

              Two copies of Sheet 21 (1966), one copy of Sheet 21a (undated), two copies of Sheet 22 (1965), two copies of Sheet 23 (1983), two copies of Sheet 24 (1965), two copies of Sheet 25 (1965), one copy of Sheet 26.

              One copy of sheet 34 and a photocopy of the section of this map that covers Turbot (1965), two copies of Sheet 35 (1977), two copies of Sheet 36 (1965), two copies of Sheet 37 (1965), two copies of Sheet 38 (1965), two copies of Sheet 39 (1966).
