Correspondence between Oliver Lloyd of the University of Bristol Speleological Society and Robinson. Lloyd is writing a paper, and wishes to be consistent in the language of his placenames, so he seeks verification on the correct English spellings of Cathair, Mhaol and Bheag. Carbon copy of a detailed reply from Robinson explaining his approach is contrary to the anglicisation of Irish placenames. Subsequent correspondence discusses the Irish Whitebeam.

Copy letter from Tim Robinson to Liam Mac Gloinn following a conversation they had at the Merriman summer school. Tim encloses a copy of the revised 1999 map for Liam to mark the places he mentioned in their conversation. Three handwritten manuscripts with a wealth of information on placenames are sent to Tim by Liam, along with the annotated 1999 map. Copies of letters from Tim with some follow up queries.

Folder of press cuttings containing articles relating to the Burren, including Rev Martin Coen's 'Gleanings' series from the Connacht Tribune (late 1970s). The cuttings having been taken from publications including Connacht Tribune, Anois and The Irish Times.
