              Five iterations of a reflective piece entitled 'Looking for the Burren'. The file includes two handwritten drafts, one with Robinson's distinctive margin doodles. A third draft is typed with handwritten edits. Two typed final versions, one with handwritten instructions on margins and page layout.

              Small collection of local newsletters and magazines from 1976 to 1993: North-West Clare, The Clare People, Inside Inner Burren, Corofin View, The Burren Conservation Trust and Dal gCais.

              Folder of press cuttings containing articles relating to the Burren, including Rev Martin Coen's 'Gleanings' series from the Connacht Tribune (late 1970s). Other press cuttings cover a range of subjects from shellfish surveys, rocks, Edna O'Brien, the match making festival at Lisdoonvarna, the Burren's goats, and more. The cuttings having been taken from publications including Connacht Tribune, Anois and The Irish Times.

              Copies of the annual journal of the Shannon Archaeological and Historical Society 'The Other Clare', which were also part of this archive, can be found within the Library's Print Collections, search the Library catalogue on http://library.nuigalway.ie/

              Manuscript material documenting the creation and publication of the first book in Tim Robinson's Connemara Trilogy, 'Listening to the Wind'. An early draft shows the book was intended to be called 'Connemara: From Tidemark to Skyline'. 'Connemara: Listening to the Wind' was nominated for two book awards, the Irish Book Awards and the Royal Society for Literature's Ondaatje Prize (see P120/3/3/6/12).
