              Letter from Prof. Boyle to President of Ireland, Mary Robinson, sent by fax to Bride Rosney, Special Advisor to the President, confirming he is happy to prepare a draft of the speech for Robinson as requested. Boyle adds a postscript that he had a brief encounter with President of South Africa, Nelson Mandela, on a recent visit Mandela made to University of Essex. Boyle made a presentation on his work to Mandela and says that Graca Machel, Mandela's wife was enthusiastic about Robinson's appointment.

              Letter from Boyle to Lockwood, Director, Urban Morgan Institute for Human Rights, University of Cincinnati, Ohio, USA, on the occasion of the silver anniversary of the founding of the Morgan Institute, praising the centre and its work in great detail.
