              Typescript "second draft" of Thomas Kilroy's adaptation of Luigi Pirandello's Enrico IV , entitled Henry - a play (inspired by Pirandello's Enrico IV , in two acts, with title page and list of characters, and extensive handwritten corrections and annotations. [Paginated 1-77. Marked by hand, and on the author's list, as a script for a production meeting in Stephen Rea's house, for the PICT production.]

              File of correspondence and other documents regarding the PICT production of Thomas Kilroy's play Henry, running from 31 August to 24 September 2005. Directed by Andrew S.Paul; with Richard McMillan, Ben Hersey, Martin Giles. Including correspondence between the director, the author, and the cast; rehearsal schedule; historical research done for the director; printed programmes and fliers (one advertising Stephen Rea's participation, otherwise replaced by Richard McMillan); press reviews (some focussing on the Equity trade union's case preventing Stephen Rea from performing in the US). The theatre programme includes a piece by Kilroy entitled "Adapting Pirandello". Also including a letter from Chris Luthin originally enclosing draft of an interview with Kilroy; interview by Thierry Dubost with director Paul. [This belongs together with the preceding three items, production and rehearsal scripts.]

              File of records from the Field Day Theatre Company's production of Thomas Kilroy's play Double Cross, starting with a performance in Derry (11 February 1986), then touring Ireland with a run at The Gate Theatre, followed by a run at the Royal Court Theatre, London. Directed by Jim Sheridan; starring Stephen Rea, Kate O'Toole, Richard Howard. Containing correspondence (with Margaret Ramsay Ltd, Field Day, members of the public); printed programmes and promotional material; newspaper reviews including a copy of Theatre Ireland (May/August 1988) with an article about the play by Gerard Dawe. Including legal correspondence with Ramsay (and memorandum of agreement, 28 May 1985), correspondence from biographer Charles Lysaght, Jim Sheridan, from Séamus Deane (fragment letter); article in magazine Play and Players (March 1986). Also including correspondence from late 1992/ early 1993 between Kilroy's agents, the BBC World Service, and a member of the viewing public, suggesting that the play was produced by the BBC and broadcast in 1992, with [Stephen Rea].

Includes internet print of family history and biography of O'Mara; with same for 'Barfield' a history of the home bought by O'Mara; postcard colour images of Cashel House Connemara, lived in by James O'Mara, also written on reverse by Etienne Rynne; postcard image of the group members of Dáil Éireann, 1919; and blurred colour photograph of stained glass windows installed Cashel Church by James O'Mara.

              MS letter from Alphonsus 'Phons' O' Mara to Michael Rynne, "You do us proud! I'm delighted that your work has brought you so much reward." Print-out of biographical information on Phons O'Mara, a former Mayor of Limerick, also included.
              File 2 includes note sent to Michael Rynne, Aug 1922, re. contact needed as Phons O'Mara was missing and his family very worried. Michael adds in a later note that this was one of the "few personal radio message dealt with at the height of the Civil War and before Irregulars driven out of Limerick."

Booklets include "An Hour with the Sacred Heart"; "Another Hour with the Sacred Heart"; "Hours With Jesus"; "The Devotion of the Holy Mother"; "An Hour with the Sacred Heart" (a later edition) and "An Hour With Jesus". Some items are signed and dated by Etienne Rynne.

              A number of items including a postcard invitation to "meet the Marquis Ripon and Mr. Morley" at the request of the Lord Mayor of Dublin to 'The High Sheriff of Limerick (Stephen O'Mara); a Christmas card, single-sided from Mr and Mrs Stephen O'Mara, Hartstonge House, Limerick, 1904; Booklet from Centenary Dinner - O'Mara Limerick, 11 Feb 1939, with the lyrics to thirty-one listed songs. Printed by City Printing Ltd., 11 Rutland St, Limerick and a booklet from 'The Bacon Company of Ireland, Ltd. 16 Dec 1939, with same lyrics and songs present. Also a photocopy of invitation to Miss Mary O'Mara to Grand Fancy Dress Ball in celebration of the Sept-Centennial of the Incorporation of Limerick.
              File also includes photocopies of original letters already listed in the O'Mara family correspondence.

Those pictured include Michael Rynne, his wife Nathalie, Mary O'Mara, Peter O'Mara, with two children, Mary Rynne as a child, Anne and Peter O'Mara.
              Includes colour photocopy of photograph at Strand House, Limerick, with caption "President de Valera at Strand House, Limerick early on the historic morning of 6th December 1921, immediately after the President received telephone message re Treaty." Michael Rynne is pictured.
