              Correspondence from members of the public in relation to the Family Planning Bill 1973 (relating to removal of contraception ban) which Mary Robinson was bringing to Dáil, and their support or opposition to it, as it went through various stages. As per final letter in this folder, it was defeated on a vote at the second reading in the Senate, and a government bill had just been published but had not yet moved to second stage in the Dáil [lower house of parliament], 19/04/1974.
