Copy (faxed by Helen Bamber to Aisling Reidy) of a letter from Professor John D. Langdon, Professor of Oral Surgery, King's College School of Medicine & Dentistry, London, to Helen Bamber, Director, The Medical Foundation for the Care of Victims of Torture, with his findings on the Nebahat Akkoç X-rays. He finds no reasons to doubt that the X-rays are of a middle-aged person, and is unable to identify any bony injuries ('In this case it is quite likely that Mrs Akkoç was severely beaten about the face and could well have been left with severe pain and discomfort without having sustained a jaw fracture').
