Letter from Aideen O'Connor, The New Olympic Hotel, 230 Eddy Street, San Francisco Hotel addressed to her sister Eileen. She writes 'America has gone daft about "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs". I'm not surprised. I saw the picture yesterday and it's glorious. Don't miss it. You've never seen anything like it. "Dopey" one of the Dwarfs has become a national Idol over here.' She also describes a shopping trip to Chinatown in San Francisco only to find 'When I got [the clothes] home I discovered I'd been in a Japanese store! And I swore to Boycott Japanese goods!' She also writes that 'I too am considering marriage (seriously) he is a lawyer in Boston. I'll have to make up my mind before the end of the tour as he is coming to New York to see me. He's a darling and I'd probably have a lovely time - but I'm not in love with him. However my last love affair was so disastrous to all concerned that possibly I can get along without love this time.'
