Letter from Aideen O'Connor, Hotel Clark, Los Angeles, California addressed to her sister Eileen in which she describes her social life in Hollywood. She writes Una [O'Connor]'s part was the usual 'Hollywood" shambles Maureen O'Sullivan was there looking beautiful...', 'John Ford invited Boss, Denis and I to his house the Sunday we arrived for dinner. There were a lot of writers and people there - and a cowboy star John Wayne and his wife - who are giving a party for us tonight !'. She goes on to recount how a film columnist had commented upon how alike Aideen O'Connor and Freddie Bartholomew looked and that they should 'play in a picture as brother and sister!' Aideen O'Connor describes meeting Bartholomew at a Una O'Connor's 'he's an awfully sissy looking little looking boy who was just "so sweet" to everyone until I wanted to hit him.'
