This copy of the previous draft bears numerous cuts and corrections, and includes handwritten 17 pp of inserts (labelled B, C, D, E, F, X, for designated scenes), including elaborated dialogue between "Madame" and "Lyle Jones" at the race track added onto Scene 6 with "Sergeant" and "Chamberlain".
