Curran notes that he wants an amendment to the Act granting one manager each to North and South Tipperary ('probably that meets the points in your letter'), but that he has very little hope of getting the amendment through

Unsigned letter to Father Hayes from a writer in Pomeroy, County Tyrone. The writer notes that while the locals had hopes of getting Muintir na Tíre off the ground on a plot of land there to help feed the poor of Belfast, one man offered to take the entire contract and so has spoiled the prospect. He writes that 'we may have to confine ourselves to a potatoe[sic] scheme alone' and 'I don't know whether anything can be done to get our work finished in time, but I'll let you know what happens.'
Letter to Father Hayes from D. [illegible], Rockwell College, Cashel, summarising 'some of the points we were talking about last night'. The letter contains a number of declarations and words of advice about how to execute an agricultural scheme.
