Letter to Father Hayes from John J. Nash, solicitor, Thurles, regarding charges against one of his clients, a surgeon Hogan. The letter encloses another letter (not attached) detailing Nash's feeling on the charges ('...I am not sufficiently foolish enough to think that because he is a client of mine he is necessarily in the right.). He also discusses potential appointment for the position of House Surgeon in the County Hospital, Cashel.

Bergin writes that 'Senators Cummins and Tunney and Professor Johnson are stealing your thunder by introducing into the Senate a proposal to give a Family Allowance to married farm labourers'. He writes that a letter should be written to the daily papers and The Standard pointing out that Muintir na Tíre has already adopted a Scheme of Family Allowance for Rural Leaders and submitted it to An Taoiseach.
Form letter sent to Father Hayes by Solus, Teó., Bray, informing that they are obliged to charge for packing containers for lamps due to the current impossibility of obtaining corrugated board for their outer containers. Containers can then be collapsed and returned to the company.
Letter to Father Hayes from D. Twomey, Department of Agriculture, listing varieties of potatoes that he sees have real merit as table potatoes, and stating that the proposal to fix the price for Golden Wonder and Champion varieties would appear to be reasonable.
Letter to Father Hayes from John Hennessy, Loughmore, County Tipperary, enclosing a map (not attached) of a site taken from Hennessy for a number of cottages near his house. Hennessy sold a site of 1 1/2 acres for a new school to the Archbishop in 1930 for £200. This left him with reduced frontage to the public road which has now been taken by the Board of Health for cottages. He has proposed an alternative site which has been provisionally agreed to by the Board and asks Father Hayes to use his influence to have the alternative site confirmed.

Kelly, Belfast, noting that that morning's edition of the Irish News had a featured editorial on Muintir na Tíre and the gatherings of the past few days in Belfast. He advises Father Hayes to write the editor, thank him for the publicity and his support, and tell him a column is being sent for publication.
