Handwritten transcription of a letter from Barry Fitzgerald 2 Seafield Ave, Monkstown, Co. Dublin addressed to Ethel O'Brien. The letter was transcribed in 1974 by Laurie Shields. Barry Fitzgerald writes that he had spent some time in Portugal on the way over to Dublin, He write that they 'rented a car and saw a lot of the country. Nice people, good food and modest prices.' Fitzgerald describes how he has been playing golf in Ireland and was planning to go sailing with 'J.J.', he also complains that 'I Sometimes miss that nice S.B. Climate and if I may say so I miss you and D quite a bit.'
