Application of Mahmut Demir submitted to the European Commission of Human Rights to pursue a case against Turkey regarding the deaths of his nieces, Dilek and Dilan Demir, injury to his father Yusuf Demir, and the destruction of Yusuf's home all resulting from a 19 December 1992 attack on the village of Tepecik by Turkish soldiers and village guards, as well as the absence of an effective investigation on this incident. Appendices include Demir's letter to the Commission authorising Kevin Boyle and Françoise Hampson as his legal representatives and a magazine article about the destruction of Tepecik.
