Application of Mahmut Demir submitted to the European Commission of Human Rights to pursue a case against Turkey regarding the deaths of his nieces, Dilek and Dilan Demir, injury to his father Yusuf Demir, and the destruction of Yusuf's home all resulting from a 19 December 1992 attack on the village of Tepecik by Turkish soldiers and village guards, as well as the absence of an effective investigation on this incident.
