Scope and content

Transcripts and abstracts of letters written by members of the extended Wylly, Habersham, and Lawrence families. Originating in Coleraine, County Derry, members of the family emigrated to Savannah, Georgia prior to the American Revolutionary War. Much of the family were compelled to leave Georgia due to their Loyalist stance and after some years in Nova Scotia fled to the Bahamas.
