The statement notes that: Amnesty International is unaware of any reports of compensation as yet for damage to villages in southeast Turkey; those who complain about destruction of villages may become victims of human rights abuses; and few members of the security forces are brought to justice for intimidations and human rights violations. Attached is a copy of the written request on 4 April 1996 by Amnesty International to the Court to submit comments on the subject of domestic remedies.
