Scope and content

Typed transcript of a letter written to Ireland from New York circa. 1898-1900. After two years with the army 'all round the united States,' Thomas Clinton writes home to Patt following his safe return from 'narrow escapes' in Cuba. He gives news of mutual friends from home who are now in New York and wishes them well at home in Rosmead [possibly Westmeath].
