Statement of Zübeyir Dündar made to the Human Rights Association in relation to his application to the European Court of Human Rights. Dündar reiterates his previous statements and notes that he became aware of the abuse of his son's corpse when the Özgür Gündem article was published on 19 November 1992 (see the application, A44/43/1/26/2/1). Zübeyir also notes that he was visited by a prosecutor in January 2000 who told him 'that this case has been continuing for 8 years and will continue for another 8 years.' Attached is a translation of the statement and a fax from Philip Leach to Bill Bowring forwarding the translation.
