Scope and content

Mac an Bheatha's origins fed a life-long interest in Ulster writers and Ulstermen in Irish history, so that much of his press, but also some of his book, publications deal with these topics. His personal acquaintance with Seosamh MacGrianna during the mid- 1950s led to his campaign to raise funds for him. This series contains material collected by Mac an Bheatha reflecting these points of contact, including much published material by Mac Grianna, his critics, and work by Mac an Bheatha about Mac Grianna and other Ulster writers.
