Material from "The Galway Observer", "The Connacht Sentinel", "The Irish Times", "The Irish Independent", "Indiu" ( Inniu ), "The Evening Herald", "The Derry Journal", "The People's Press", other local papers. Mostly articles quoting Hayes-McCoy on historical points, reporting on his public lectures, illustrating his work at the National Museum of Ireland, fewer press letters and articles written by Hayes-McCoy. Including programmes for exhibitions of paintings by him, held by Galway Art Club in 1950 and 1951.
