Statement commissioned by the applicant's representatives written by Dr Chris Milroy, Senior Lecturer in Forensic Pathology at the University of Sheffield, after analysing the reports of the three medical examinations performed on Şükran Aydın in July and August 1993. Dr Milroy notes that the signs of recent defloration combined with the presence of bruising on the inner thigh strongly supports an allegation of rape, and notes that the findings of the first report indicate that the applicant had not engaged in regular penetrative sexual intercourse.
