Managing Director, McDonagh Feeds, McDonagh Milling and Trading Co. Ltd. Galway, to Garry Hynes and Louise Donlon of Druid, stating "In order to celebrate Druid's 21st Anniversary, McDonoghs would like to gift the Theatre premises to Druid, to be used by Druid, for as long as it continues in existence and continues to produce plays annually at the theatre. I have asked our lawyers to put the legal structure in place to give effect to our wishes. Letter from Kieran Murphy and Co. Solicitors to Louise Donlon, General Manager, Druid, stating enclosed is a draft lease received from Messrs. Kilroys, Solicitors being a lease with McDonogh Milling and Trading Co. Ltd. for term of 99 years for the theatre premises for an annual rent of £1 for the first ten years.
