File includes text of press release and of invitation to the opening night performance; Correspondence from Jane Daly, General Manager, Druid to David Marcus, discussing interest in staging "The Midnight Court" (30 May 1991) and also stating that due to lack of funding the production cannot proceed in 1991 (25 Jun 1991) Draft of letter to Aeval Productions, for review by Maelíosa Stafford, drafted by [Jane Daly], stating terms of production agreement (19 Feb 1992); A production proposal with budget prepared by Sean Tyrrel; Letter of proposal details and agreement sent to Tyrrell from Stafford and Daly (20 Feb 1992); list of potential sponsors; opening night guest list; Fax copy of final agreement between Tyrrell and Druid; List of expenditure and production costs; revised budgets; final production costs; details of revenue received. Letter from David Marcus to Jany Daly discussing his disappointment at the level of his billing on promotional material.               Files of records relating to the production of "The Midnight Court" by Brian Merriman and in a translation by David Marcus, set to music by Sean Tyrrel. The production is to have taken place "on the shores of Lough Graney, at Flagmount, County Clare." Directed by Maelíosa Stafford. Includes flyer with tour details which include venues after Flagmount as Feakle, Scariff, Mountshannon, Tulla, Gort, Ennis, Crusheen." Three files of correspondence present (1992 - File A, 1993 - File B and 1994-1995 - File C) detailing a dispute between parties such as Sean Tyrrell, Aeval Productions and Druid Theatre and various legal parties concerning royalty payment and production rights. Files D, E and F include production administration correspondence and documents on marketing and media around the production tour; cast contract agreements; tour accommodation information; agreements and contracts with tour venues and also budget and financial information.

              Production files relating to "The Mines of Sulphur" by Richard Rodney Bennett with set and costume design by Joe Vaněk. Produced at the Wexford Festival Opera in 2008, directed by Michael Barker-Caven and conducted by Stewart Robinson.
              File 1 contains printed emails between Vaněk and Michael Barker-Caven (February - April 2008) and which include discussions regarding design for set and costumes by Vaněk for the opera, also includes images sourced by Vaněk in his research and design for the opera. Discussion detail how the design develops, how the opera will be directed and how the design can reflect the aim of the production. The email print-outs also include images of set model boxes and costume designs for "The Mines of Sulphur" originally as email attachments, by Vaněk and sent to Barker-Caven.

              File 2 includes outsize technical drawings of the set design, drawn by Vaněk for "The Mines of Sulphur". Other assorted drawings include manuscript pencil and ink drawings of the set by Vaněk; print-outs of colour photographs of the set design and model box by Vaněk; and also a printed technical schedule for the week-by-week production of "The Mines of Sulphur" at Wexford Festival Opera.

              File 3 includes further research documents retained by Vaněk in his design of "The Mines of Sulphur", includes colour photographs of characters from literature/film/theatre; images of furniture and artefacts such as at the Rijksmuseum, Netherlands, images of historical plague doctors, internet biographies of Richard Rodney Bennett, and other related research documents.
