Documents from and relating to Mary Rynne. Mary was a writer and playwright, whose stories were published in various Irish women's periodicals in the 1920s, including "Irish Woman's Weekly". Mary Rynne wrote a number of stage plays. "Pilgrims" was first produced at the Abbey Theatre, Dublin in 1938.

Manuscript letter from Frank O'Connor (not dated), addressed from Lynduff, Woodenbridge, Co. Wicklow. States that he would be pleased if the Abbey took up her play, but that he has not kept up his connection with the theatre, and instead suggests speaking to Lennox Robinson.
