              DruidSynge - The Plays of John Millington Synge. Printed book to accompany the series by Druid Theatre Company entitled DruidSynge. This undertaking by Druid was to produce all works by the playwright J.M. Synge. The works produced included 'Riders to the Sea', 'The Tinkers Wedding', 'the Well of the Saints', 'The Shadow of the Glen', 'The Playboy of the Western World' and 'Deirdre of the Sorrows'. Book includes an article on J.M Synge written by Tim Robinson; biographical details and black and white headshots of cast and company members; a list of 'Friends and Subscribers of Druid Theatre Company'; details of past productions of 'The Playboy of the Western World' by Druid Theatre Company; acknowledgements by Druid Theatre Company; a list of DruidSynge publications and website; numerous images from Druid theatre rehearsals and productions and other details. Also includes limited hardback edition of the book, numbered no. 41 of 100 editions. One edition of the paperback booklet is signed by some of the cast members.
