Press cuttings kept by the Language Freedom Movement, representing positive and negative coverage of the organisation, commentary on Government Policy on Irish language restoration, education in Ireland, and discourse on civil rights and the role language plays in identity formation. In addition to loose cuttings from the press, there are five scrapbooks of material covering July 1966-January 1967, focusing largely on the Mansion House meeting of 21st September 1966, but also including battles played out between both sides of the language debate in the letters section of various newspapers.

Files of press cuttings from regional, national and international press, with coverage of events produced by Macnas since its foundation in 1986, and also including interviews with Macnas members, such as Paraic Breathnach.

Large folder of press cuttings containing articles relating to the Aran Islands, but covering a wide variety of subjects. The cuttings having been taken from publications including The Irish Times, Connacht Tribune, Anois, Amárach, Sunday Tribune, and others.

The cuttings have been filed into decades, but no further arrangement has been carried out beyond this level.

File of press cuttings from Connacht Tribune, Irish Times, and the Guardian on conservation issues including a proposed golf course in Kerry, water shortages on Aran, Aran air link, cooperative groups, a proposal to boost the population on Cape Clear, and a piece by Lorna Siggins on Áras Éanna. Press cuttings collected and relating to Mary Robinson’s term as President of Ireland, 1990-1997, and arranged chronologically by year. The majority of these cuttings were compiled with the aid of a professional press cuttings service during the presidential term.

File of press cuttings from the early and first productions by Pan Pan Theatre Company. Includes reviews for "The Crystal Spider", "The Man With Two Kisses", "Mademoiselle Flic Flac in the Red Room", and "Martin Assassin of His Wife". Most items are loose-leaf with some items pasted into a scrapbook. Within the scrapbook is a manuscript letter on a piece of notepaper sent to Pan Pan by an audience member reacting to [unnamed play] but that it will be in their minds for some time to come.
