Research files, plans, drawings and photographs from production of Moon for the Misbegotten, written by Eugene O'Neill and produced at the Geva Theatre, Rochester, New York, designed by Joe Vaněk, directed by Ben Barnes in a Theatre Royal Waterford production. The play opened at the Theatre Royal, Waterford, 10-12 March, and also toured to the Lyric Theatre Belfast in March 2016.

Includes a letter from Rynne discussing items to be added into State care via the National Monuments Advisory Committee, such as Athenry town walls and others such as in Fethard, Co. Tipperary. Rynne also discusses the presence of the I.R.A. and comments generally on the ongoing conflict (7 Oct 1971); Further letters between both discuss mottes and baileys generally and with specific examples in Limerick, Clare, Galway, and Mayo. Galway, seeking signature of Rynne for voucher stating transfer of stores handed over at Ballygar R.I.C. Barracks. The second letter acknowledges receipt of inventory of articles handed over with Ballygar Barracks and makes mention of items omitted from same.
