Typescript contract between the National Theatre Society Ltd. and Mary Rynne for the production of her play "Pilgrims," the rights to which the Abbey was given for five years. Signed 30 September 1938. Envelope included.

Documents from and relating to Mary Rynne. Mary was a writer and playwright, whose stories were published in various Irish women's periodicals in the 1920s, including "Irish Woman's Weekly". Mary Rynne wrote a number of stage plays. "Pilgrims" was first produced at the Abbey Theatre, Dublin in 1938.
