Under the topic heading of 'Western Europe', I thought I would speak about the Rushdie affair as it relates to Freedom of Religion and Freedom of Expression.... (written in blue ink) Also included is handwritten (in black ink) text by Boyle that is headed: 'Ladies & Gentlemen, my conclusion is going to be modest . . .' and outlines comment on Article 19 and the Rushdie case.
