              Letter from Boyle to Arthur, who wrote to Boyle previously concerning his thesis work on the growth of the group People's Democracy and other Civil Rights related issues in Northern Ireland. Arthur interviewed Boyle concerning his memories and experiences in People's Democracy and also the Northern Ireland Civil Rights Association (NICRA). Boyle here provides detailed accounts of his workings with both groups and also the emergence of the Civil Rights Movement in Northern Ireland.

              Letter from Boyle to Edwina Stewart, Secretary of the Northern Ireland Civil Rights Association, N.I.C.R.A., and copies to Hurst Hannum, regarding cases of brutality and ill treatment in Northern Ireland that Boyle and Hannum will present the European Commission on Human Rights in Strasbourg. Boyle asks of Stewart to record in detail any such cases brought to the attention of the N.I.C.R.A. and thanks her for the support of the N.I.C.R.A. "in getting this far in this important case." NOTE: First page of letter is missing.
