File 2 includes minutes and agenda of minutes of meetings of the Galway Municipal Theatres Trust, with detailed accounts of the actions and discussions of the group. Also includes related letters and correspondence between the Trust members, Galway Corporation, and individuals such as Mike Diskin and Michael D. Higgins T.D.
File 3: Includes architect's report and overview document with costs and budgets for plans to develop the Black Box Theatre prepared by Kerrigan Sheanon Newman Architects. Also includes press coverage from Galway-based press and media of the development of Galway Municipal Theatre and of the Black Box Theatre.

Galway Repertory Company. The company was a combination of players from Taibhdhearch na Gaillimhe and the Galway University Players for the summer season. Printed black and white booklet detailing the Summer Season by the Galway Repertory Company. Includes play details and cast list for productions Home is the Hero by Walter Macken, The Shadow of a Gunman by Sean O'Casey, Fasfaidh Fear Fos by Sean O'Loinsigh, the Pot of Broth by W.B. Yeats, the Workhouse Ward by Lady Gregory and The Rising of the Moon by Lady Gregory. Booklet also includes various advertisements from local businesses, black and white images of Galway Repertory Company members and directors.

Files include editions of "Tourist Trail of Old Galway", the text of which was written by Etienne Rynne, with illustrations by Dick Byrne. Multiple revised editions between 1978 and 1988, various other flyers of tourist activities for Galway; press cuttings of news articles and letters between Etienne Rynne and bodies such as Ireland Tourism West and others who supplied information for the guides etc.

Editions of Gambian newspapers collected by Kevin Boyle during his visits to the Gambia. Editions include the Gambia Gazette, the Nation, the Gambian News Bulletin, The Gambian Times and the Sun. Also includes some press cuttings other press relating to the Gambia.
