Eastern Command, tendering resignation of "my commission as an Officer in the Irish Army" as Rynne does not wish to make the Army his career. Rynne outlines the reasons why political events around the Treaty meant his sense of duty ensured he could not resign earlier. Written at Eastern District Command Headquarters, Wellington Barracks (31 Dec 1922) Two copies.
