Files relating to the initial plans and efforts of Prof. Kevin Boyle to establish an Irish Centre for the Study of Human Rights at University College Galway. These files were arranged and labelled by Prof. Boyle as relating to the attempts to raise the profile and fundraise for such a Centre at UCG. The files may overlap in places with similar efforts by Boyle and others at UCG at this time to develop the Law Faculty at UCG. The files relate to fund raising efforts in the U.S., academic and administrative development for a Human Rights Centre and other such related issues.
