              Files relating to contributions to the RTÉ Radio weekly programme, 'Sunday Miscellany' and to which Carolyn Swift was a regular contributor. The files contain typed texts, some with manuscript edits of contributions submitted to the programme by Swift and which were broadcast on RTÉ Radio 1. Some pieces have multiple drafts with some also have attached letter from Swift to the relevant RTÉ radio staff/producer discussing the contribution. The pieces written by Swift have been divided into three broad themes:

Whitehead Award, noting receipt of the playscript for consideration.

Multiple typed copies of the talk, annotated by hand by Swift.

              Letters between Swift and Alice Darlington, President of the Ireland - Israel Friendship League, discussing plans for the talk including earliest letter of invitation to Swift from Darlington hoping that Swift will give a talk for the League (7 Aug 1979); letter of invitation issued to the talk by the League and on League headed paper; Letter from Swift to the Cultural Attaché, Embassy of Egypt, Mount Merrion, Dublin (Jan 1980). Also list of slides and images used by Swift as part of the talk.
