Photocopy of a letter from Guy Mehigan, 162 Grace Park Road, Dublin addressed to Arthur Shields. Since Bazie Shields death Adam had been staying with Mr. and Mrs. Mehigan, however Mehigan writes 'The position now is that I found it necessary to send him over to stay with Mrs. Mortished due to the fact that I could not get him to attend college regularly...'; he goes on to assure Arthur Shields that the situation is not serious and should be no cause for anxiety and goes on to write 'Now a few personal items regarding Adam he is growing very tall and is in very good health, he has good personality a boy to which you become very much attached; his hobbies are mainly building model aeroplanes collecting stamps and drawing and for outside recreation Eschewing, swimming and a little fishing.'
