Photocopy of a letter from Charles Saurin, Courtmacsherry, Bandon, Co. Cork addressed to Arthur Shields. Saurin writes that he hasn't had the opportunity to visit Will (Barry Fitzgerald) in Dublin and that he believes that he must be doing quite well; he writes 'I saw in 'The Irish Times' a week ago where he was on a sailing race with J.J. O'Leary to Arklow or Wexford, so he must be completely recovered. Saurin also writes about how his family are getting on and enquires about Shields' extended family.
