Notebook kept by [Thomas Kilroy] with drafts for Farmers [RTÉ Television play, 1978] (c.75 pp), and for his play Talbot's box (c.55 pp). Farmers is in two parts (further division into scenes) with dialogue between "Nuala", "Judith", "Peter", and others. Talbot's box contains notes on stage set (note "Jesuit theatre"), notes entitled "the paradoxes", extensive dialogue corresponding to much of Act II (as published by Gallery Press); statement on Matt Talbot and the basic meaning of the play. The book also contains a draft letter to Margaretta [D'Arcy].
