Scope and content
This series relates to Thomas Kilroy's play "Talbot's Box", first produced by The Abbey Theatre in 1977, and subsequently revived by a number of companies including Red Kettle, and Feedback. It contains early draft fragments, and drafts for Abbey rehearsals, as well as programmes, press cuttings, correspondence, a French translation, Gallery Press proofs, and some background material concerning acting and the stage that inspired Kilroy at the time. It also contains a draft of "Farmers" [television play, 1978], and an unrelated draft letter.
