Report authored by Markus Casey for the Roscommon National Roads Design Office. Casey was commissioned by the office to survey the areas of the proposed corridors for a by-pass of the town of Ballaghaderreen. Casey notes that over 300 sites of archaeological, historical, or architectural significance might be impacted to some degree by construction of the road, and gives his recommendation for a route that would incur the least damage on these sites.
