Mortgage for £850 for the lands of Knocknagee, Barony of Kilmaine, and of Cappaghlare, Tooren, Scardaun and Cartoon, Claughwoolly, Balahowla, Ballykine, Barony of Costelloe (a) Clongowla and Knockricara, Barony of Kilmaine (b) one fifth share bby right of his wife in the lands of Cahermaculick, Barony of Kilmaine. Parties are (1) Thomas Ruttledge of Balahooly, Esq. and (2) Anthony Ormsby of Gloucester St., Dublin. The terms were for various lives for different lands involving Thomas and William Ruttledge and Heary, Christopher and James Taaffe, and for the remainder of the lease. It recites the deeds whereby the Ruttledges came into the possession of these lands 1782-1812 and involving Richard Cooper of Dublin Esq., Owen Ormsby of Welbeck St., London, Esq., Hon Charles Viscount Dillon, John Nolan of Huntsfield, County Mayo, Gent., and David Ruttledge of Newcastle, County Mayo Esq. and Dominic Browne of Castlemacgarrett. Anthony Ormsby took out a life insurance policy on Thomas Ruttledge for £900 with the Hope Insurance Company. Witnesses are John Mills and William Chapman. Register of Deed number 767.487.520622.
