Supplementary materials pertaining to the case filed by Mehmet Timurtaş on 9 February 1994 against the Republic of Turkey with the European Commission of Human Rights (application number 23531/94, referred to internally within the Kurdish Litigation Project as Case 88 and assigned to Françoise Hampson as lead) regarding the 14 August 1993 disappearance of his son, Abdulvahap Timurtaş. 1) English translations (these were appended to the original application) of the statement of the applicant made to the Diyarbakır Branch of the Human Rights Association and petitions of the Timurtaş family and MP Selim Sadak to Government bodies regarding the disappearances of Abdulvahap Timurtaş and death in custody of his brother Mehmet Tefvik Timurtaş.
