Following the publication of an article about the Aran Islands map in the Irish Times in Mar 1984, Kerrigan writes to Robinson inquiring about Arkin Castle on Inis Mór, a signal tower on Inis Oírr, and another at Golam Head, Lettermullan. The correspondence runs from 28 Mar-19 Jul 1984 with copies of Robinson's letters included. He asks Robinson for information on the Aran Islands during the Famine (21 Nov 1986).
