File of correspondence between Tim Robinson and the editors of the Connacht Tribune, beginning with Seán V Fahy in 1983, and John Cunningham by 1985. Included in the file are:
Copy of a handwritten letter from Robinson to Fahy proposing to write a series of articles with information on the placenames, folklore, local history and archaeology of South Connemara. A reply from Fahy agrees to publish the series.
Copies of 4 letters from Tim Robinson to John Cunningham in which Robinson outlines the value of the series, which has resulted in readers contacting Robinson with more local information. Subsequent correspondence indicates a break in the publication of the series.
