TS letter from Boyle to Taylor outlining position on Palace Barracks, Co. Down, which was used as a venue for detention, interrogation and maltreatment of individuals suspected of terrorist activity (9 Oct 1979);
TS guidelines for being interviewed and appearing on TV, c1970s;
MS postcard from Taylor to Boyle, thanking Boyle for his letter and details on Palace Barracks, R V Flynn and Leonard (22 Oct 1979);
Copy TS letter from Taylor's Secretary, G. Hoban, thanking Boyle for his contribution to Panorama programme on Extradition (15 Mar 1982);
Letter signed by Taylor again thanking Boyle for his contribution and saying "The programme caused considerable ripples here". (23 Mar 1982);
Further letters thank Boyle for contributions to BBC programmes such as Panorama on topics such as Donnelly Case, Diplock, sends Boyle congratulations on winning the Donnelly case (1984) and other Northern Ireland related issues.

Handwritten letter from Rachel Brown to Robinson following up on their meeting, commenting on 'Stones of Aran Pilgrimage', and asking about Robinson's upcoming Connemara book. Copy typed reply from Robinson suggesting a possible collaboration with Brown, a photographer, on 'Setting Foot on the Shores of Connemara & Other Writings'. He describes a few imaginary photos that would complement phrases in the essay.

Correspondence between Richard O Mulrenin, Secretary of the Gaelic Union, and S.J. Barrett. A County Roscommon native, born in 1832 and was an agricultural student at the Albert Model Farm, Glasnevin, but with an aptitude for languages. He went to live in the Netherlands and Belgium for a while, and returned in 1876 where he worked in the Freeman's Journal, studied languages at TCD, and was Secretary of the Gaelic Union. He also wrote for Irisleabhar na Gaedilege, including a detailed report on the state of Irish on Inis Mean at the time. He died on the 28th October 1906.

Two letters to Robinson from Ríonach Ní Ógáin of the Department of Irish Folklore at UCD. The first encloses a list of references to Synge in the Department's collections, with an explanation of the International Classification System of Folktales. She encloses photocopies of 2 articles:
'The Types of the Folktale, A Classification and Bibliography' by Antti Aarne, translated by Stith Thompson (1973);
'The Types of the Irish Folktale' by Seán Ó Súilleabháin and Reidar Th. Christiansen (1967).

The 2nd letter encloses a photocopy of 'Láirín Riocaird Mhóir', a verse collected by Seán Ó Conaill from Pádraig Ó Ceallaigh, Baile an Phoill c. 1932.

Correspondence between Seosamh Laoide and Stiophán Bairéad. Joseph Henry Lloyd was born in Ranelagh in 1865, was editor of Irishleabhar na Gaeilge from 1891 to 1902, when he went on to take charge of the Gaelic League's publication programme. He was also co-treasurer of Connradh in the early years with Stiophán. Effectively made redundant from the League in 1916, he moved to London working for a while, before returning to Dublin in 1920.
