"Note from Fiachra Cigeach to Tadhg saying that he had written the enclosed letter six days ago but had forgotten to post it. He has since heard of the death of his sister (Nora, Thorna's wife) and that they had to go to Cork and that he hadn't had time to post the letter with all the going. Enclosed letter from Fiachra Cigeach, ""Clódhanna agus Fáinne an Lae"", 25 Cearnóg Pharnail, Áth Cliath to Scéaluidhe Glic [Tadhg Seoighe], telling him that the piece he sent will appear in the next issue, or else the following one. He talks about the new editor, Seán Ó Caoimh ""fear atá i mbun páipéirí le chúig bhliana fichead"". Gives him news of Conall Cearnach. Tells him that he read his piece in ""An Stoc"". He says that he would like more poetry but that they have no-one and asks Tadhg if he would be interested [in Irish]."
