Scope and content

Letters from Harold Bromley, 5 East 76th Street, New York 21, N.Y. addressed to Laurie Shields and Arthur Shields respectively. In a letter dated 13 October 1959 Bromley thanks Shields for sending a clipping from the L.A. Times. In relation to 'Goodwill Ambassador' Bromley writes 'Of Course, I have no objection to a little publicity and the mention of Arthur's possible connection with the play. You know you are a natural press agent?' Arthur Shields apparently met Bromley on his way to Dublin in October 1959.
