Letter from William Donelan, 19 Blessington St., Dublin, to his father, Woodquay, Tuam, saying that Dr. Adams had shown him a letter from Tom asking why he had not written after the examinations. He states as they were only half-yearly exams he didn't think it important to write about them. He states that Dr. Adams will write and explain the situation. He reports that his uncle is well but thinks that all the wildfowl in Connacht have either got cholera or flown away. "He hopes you can take a hint". Gives him the news of all the Connacht people he has met.
