Letter to Canon Hayes from Seán Mór Rice, Help Ireland Committee, Los Angeles, California. He notes that the Irish writer Alice Curtayne spent an evening with him and his wife, and that Curtayne made a recording with Bob Ferris (KNX Radio, Los Angeles) for broadcast. He writes that when Canon Hayes' recording comes Ferris will announce the time that it is broadcast so that the audience will be maximised. Rice also mentions his plan for widening and straightening the River Dunkellin. He closes by writing that he visualises a day where all countries can contribute to wiping out hunger in all parts of the world.
