Letter (in Turkish with English translation) from Nejdet Buldan to Sheldon Leader enclosing photocopies of three letters threatening his life which he received in 1994 while he was mayor of Yüksekova (Gever) and immediately following the end of his term (Nejdet's term as mayor ended approximately two months before his brother's murder). The letters appear to have been sent by persons closely attached to official positions and invoke the name of prime minister of the time, Tansu Çiller. The letters contain strong and vulgar language defaming Buldan, his family, and Kurdish people in general.
